microphone is turned on. Leave on to use Hands-Free Answer on Intercom (HFAI) feature.

Talk Indicator (MLC-6 Base). Lights when the handset is lifted and turned on.
Charge Indicator (MLC-6 Base). Lights when the handset is placed on the base and the handset batteries are charging.
