Fiber Peripheral Controller card
Enable/disable switch
Some cards, such as the Fiber Superloop Network card shown in Figure
19 "Fiber Superloop Network card" (page 95), are equipped with an
ENL/DIS switch.
This ENL/DIS switch is located on the card's faceplate. It is used to
disable the card before removing it from an operating system without
disrupting other system functions. After repairing or replacing the card,
place it back in service by setting the switch to the enable (ENL) position.
