CONNECTING TO THE REMOTE USER INTERFACE

Start the Remote User Interface (RUInet) by placing the mouse pointer on the "Remote User
Interface" icon and double-clicking. The following screen will appear:
Note: You will see reference to the third-party manufacturer's name for the BACnet Interface
Module, "ProtoNode", throughout the Remote User Interface utility.

USING THE REMOTE USER INTERFACE TO SET IP ADDRESS

1. From the Main Menu, press "I — Change IP Address" to enter the Edit IP Address Set-
tings menu.
2. Press "1" to modify the IP address of the Ethernet adapter.
3. Type in a new IP address in the format 192.168.2.X and press <Enter>.
4. If necessary, press "2" to and change the Subnet mask.
5. Type in a new Subnet Mask and press <Enter>.
6. If necessary, press "3" to and change the IP Gateway.
7. Type in a new IP Gateway and press <Enter>.
Note: If the BACnet Interface Module is connected to a router, the IP Gateway of the mod-
8. Reset the BACnet Interface Module by selecting "! — Restart FieldServer". Updated
settings only take effect after a system restart.
9. Close the Remote User Interface utility.
10. Unplug the Ethernet cable from the PC/laptop and connect it to the network hub or router.
