Final shutdown (decommissioning)

Before the disassembly, the CHP module must be
electrically isolated by a specialist, i.e. the connec-
tions with the mains must be physically severed.
Drain and dispose the
-
heating water,
-
glycol-containing cooling water and
-
starter batteries,
while the engine is cold and out of operation.
WARNING
The heating and cooling water pipes
are under pressure.
WARNING
Please observe the safety instructions
for handling the above media as laid
down in chapter 2 as well as the rele-
vant disposal regulations.
Before lifting the CHP module the piping and ca-
bling must be completely removed (see also the
shipping instructions in the assembly instructions).
Please be careful when not transporting vertically
and not using mounted transport locking devices
because there is a risk that the motor-generator
unit could slip from the elastic feet on the frame of
the block-type thermal power station.
