VITOBLOC 200 Operating instructions for the natural gas-fuelled CHP module
What to do in the case of fire
Call the fire brigade.
Help injured persons immediately and call a first
aider, if necessary.
The flame of a gas fire as such cannot be extinct.
Cool a burning object, if necessary (e.g. by with-
drawing oxygen: close doors and windows).
Burning gas = gas under control.
Prevent the flames from spreading.
When flames are spreading, fight the spreading
fire with fire extinguishers.
Keep calm.
Fire fighting equipment
Use CO
extinguishers, no water because of live
2
parts.
The thermal shut-off device will close the gas
supply line to the CHP module in the case of fire
at temperatures exceeding 100 °C.
Close the gas mains valve in the connection room
manually in any case.
Possible sources and locations of leakages
engine cooling circuit: approx. 38% glycol-water
mixture
batteries: battery acid
oil tank and engine: lubrication oil
WARNING
Please observe the safety instructions
in chapter 2 under any circumstances,
when handling the above media.
Flammable materials
No flammable components are mounted on the
block-type thermal power station, although plastic
