7.0 Troubleshooting

The ATMOS
E 341 Battery was subjected to a thorough quality control in the factory.
®
Nevertheless, if a problem may occur you can possibly solve it yourself.
Recharging and battery status
Error indication
Device cannot be
recharged.
LED on the power
supply and recharger is
not illuminated
When recharging the
battery 100 % cannot
be achieved. The
charging time can take
up to 3 hours.
The lowermost green
and the red LED of the
battery status display
flash and a signal tone
sounds every 5 s.
During switch on: All
LEDs of the battery
status display flash
for 5 s, a signal tone
sounds.
All the green LEDs
of the battery status
indicator flash
permanently.
Possible cause
Poorly fitted plug of the
charging accessories.
Charging accessories
are defective
Battery is not correctly
attached.
Battery temperature
too high or too low.
Deep discharge of the
battery.
Defective electronics.
Defective power supply
and recharging unit.
Poorly fitted power
cord.
Battery service life
is exhausted or the
battery is defective.
Wrong charging
accessories.
Battery is almost
completely discharged.
Remaining battery level
is low.
Non-ATMOS battery is
used.
Remedy
1. Check the connection with the
mains supply.
1. Exchange charging accessories.
1. Check the plug connections in
the battery compartment.
1. After long-term use: Let the
device cool down.
2. Extreme ambient temperature:
Position the unit where
appropriate to a cooler or
warmer place.
1. Exchange the battery.
1. Send in the device for repair.
1. Exchange the power supply and
recharging unit.
1. Check the connections with the
mains supply.
