5.6 Oversuction

If you use the ATMOS E 341 Battery according to instructions, with bacterial fi lter and
®
fl oat ball, the device cannot be oversucked during normal use. Nevertheless, should
secretion penetrate into the interior of the device, the device is oversucked.
This can happen, for example, if no bacterial fi lter is used and the device tips over.
Reduced suction power is an indication for an oversucked device. If you suspect that
your device might be oversucked, proceed as follows:
WARNING
Risk of infection by secretion on and within the device.
Deadly diseases can be transmitted.
• Always wear disposable gloves when touching the oversucked device.
• Clean and disinfect the device.
• Send in the device to ATMOS or an authorized ATMOS service partner, chapter „6.3
Sending in the device" on page 40.
