Maintenance Manual

GENIO DC

(BS-III & BS-IV)

LIGHTS/ HORN/ WIPER/ WASHER - CHECK

Check all instruments & gauges in instrument cluster for proper operation.

**Some of the cluster indication may not able to simulate. That can only seen for few seconds as soon as

ignition switch is 'ON'

1. Turn indicator – Left

2. Check Engine Lamp

3. Head Lamp indicator – main beam

4. Charging system warning lamp

5. Engine overheating indicator

6. Turn indicator – right

Check lights /wiper/washer/horn/ hazard switch operations –

Wiper and washers – Wiper/ Washer Control Lever

Wash/ Wipe functions can be activated with the ignition key at the IGN position.

Flick-Wipe (MIST)

and it operates as long as stalk is in position.

OFF

Stalk is in normal position B.

•

Intermittent (INT)

•

(INT) wiping is selected.

Low Speed Wiping (LO)

•

High Speed Wiping (HI)

•

Wash/Wipe

When the front washer is selected, washer fluid is sprayed on the front

windshield and the wipers will wipe the screen 3 times after the washer spray is stopped

and will wipe once after 5 sec.

Push the stalk up from the normal position to position

Push the stalk down from the normal position to position

Push the stalk further down to the position D.

Push the stalk again down to the position E.
