TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
The power light is lit, but the screen
is blank.

The display is turning on when it shouldn't

Symptom
The display turns on (or enters
Ready mode) when it shouldn't.
The screen is blank or there's a problem with the
image on the screen

A computer is connected to the
display, but only a connection

Troubleshooting steps
Make sure nothing is blocking the proximity sensors so that they can detect
l
people in the room and either turn on the display or place the display in Ready
mode.
Pick up a pen or press the Power button on the convenience panel or the
l
remote control.
Determine if the problem is with the video.

Restart the display.

Troubleshooting steps
Check for and, if possible, move the display away from the following:
l
Direct sunlight
o
Bright lights
o
Forced air ducts
o
Plasma displays
o
Infrared audio systems and other infrared sources
o
Polished floors, glass walls, or other reflective surfaces
o
Be aware that the proximity sensors' range is 16' (5 m).

Troubleshooting steps
Make sure any connected computers are on and not in Standby mode.

Make sure the screen is working by tapping the Home button
l
