The SMART Board MX Series displays may experience the following issues:

1. Flickering or Flashing Image – Check the video input by pressing the *Input* button on the front control panel or remote control and selecting *OPS*. If the home screen appears correctly, the issue is with the video input.

2. Dim Image – Ensure the iQ appliance is securely installed with its power light on. Switch inputs and back, check connected computers for power or energy-saving mode, restart the display and computers, set computers to supported resolution and refresh rates, or replace video cables.

3. No Image via USB Type-C – Ensure the computer supports *DisplayPort Alternate Mode* via USB Type-C (check for DisplayPort logo). Use a SuperSpeed (5Gbps) USB cable with the correct internal wiring.

4. Bright Spots on the Screen – Press the *Home* button on the front control panel or remote control. If the home screen appears correctly, the issue is with the video input. If the problem persists, send a photograph to SMART support for warranty evaluation.

5. Incorrect Colors – Minor color differences may occur between side-by-side displays. If a screen lacks a color or has color issues on the home screen, contact the reseller for support. If using a VGA input, try a different cable or video source.

These troubleshooting steps help identify and resolve display issues.
