All device components have been checked and tested for functionality at the factory. Should defects occur
despite our careful quality control, please notify MICRO-EPSILON Eltrotec or your dealer immediately.
The warranty period for material defects is 12 months from delivery. Within this period, defective parts except
wearing parts will be repaired or replaced at no charge, if the device is sent to MICRO-EPSILON Eltrotec with
shipping costs prepaid. Any damage due to improper handling or force or as a result of repairs or modifica-
tions by third parties is not covered by the warranty. MICRO-EPSILON Eltrotec has exclusive responsibility for
repairs.
Other claims cannot be made. Claims arising from the purchase contract are not affected. MICRO-EPSILON
Eltrotec accepts no liability for consequential damages. We reserve the right to make design changes in the
interest of further development.

In the event of a defect on the sensor or optical
fiber, please send us the affected parts for repair or
exchange.

colorCONTROL MFA-1 has been manufactured in accordance with the directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). Dispo-
sal must be performed according to the legal regulations (see directive 2002/96/EC).

Remove the power supply cable and any output cables from the controller. Remove the fiber optics from
the sensor.
