Loading Paper In The 1,700-sheet Paper Tray
(Tray 3)
If the Down key is not lit, press it
to lower the bottom plate. The
key will blink while the bottom
plate is moving down.
After the Down key stops blinking
and lights, pull the tray all the
way out.
Push the black knob in as shown
in the illustration.
Load paper into the tray (not
more than 1,700 sheets).
The paper stack must be flush with
the left side fence.
Do not stack paper over the limit
mark.
Push the tray in until it stops.
When closing the tray, push it gently.
Make sure that the Down key goes
off and the Start key turns green.
