Active Settings for Current Session
The active setting for the cu rrent session is the set of configuration s that are operating w hile the camera is
currently ru nning, includ ing all u nsaved changes you have mad e to the settings before saving them .
These active settings are stored in the camera's volatile mem ory and w ill be lost and cannot be restored if
the camera resets or if the camera is p ow ered d ow n or loses p ow er.
To save these settings for reuse the next time you pow er up or reset the camera, or to protect against
losing them in the case of p ow er loss, you m ust save the current settings u sing the User Set Save
parameter. Once saved , the current settings become the selected User Set.
User Setting
The user setting is the saved set of camera configurations that you can custom ize, resave, and restore. By
d efault the u ser settings are shipped w ith the same settings as the factory set.
The com m and User Set Save saves the current settings to non-volatile memory as a User Set. The camera
autom atically restores the last saved user settin gs w hen it pow ers up.
To restore the last saved user settings, select the User Set parameter you w ant to restore and then select
the User Set Load p arameter.
