9 SIN/COS signal amplitude check and adjustment
Move the scale part or slider part, and check that the
Lissajous' curve amplitudes A and B (Fig. 4-5) are within the
specified value over the entire length.
If an amplitude is not within the specified value, adjust the
amplitude so that the Lissajous' curve amplitude A or B is set
at the specified value.
Specified value of Lissajous' curve amplitude =
1.0 Vp-p ±0.06 V
Amplitude adjustment trimmer RV2 (SIN) : A direction

<3> Reference point signal check
Connect the oscilloscope CH1 probe to the TP3 and TP4 check
pins of the interface unit.
1 Set the TIME/DIV switch of the oscilloscope to 200 ms.
2 Set the CH1 deflection sensitivity (VOLTS/DIV) of the
oscilloscope to 0.2 V/DIV.
3 Set the input coupling switch of CH1 of the oscilloscope to
GND, and adjust the oscilloscope to locate the signal at the
bottom edge of the screen. (Fig. 4-6)

4 Set the input coupling switch of CH1 of the oscilloscope to
DC.
5 Turn on the interface unit.
