Out-of-service conditions
The HiNet LP5100 becomes "out-of-service", i.e. if its unable to
make or receive calls in the following situations:
– The terminal is being remotely configured via the SNMP man-
agement entity
– The administrator is in either the "Diagnosis menu" or "Admin-
istration menu"
Remote management and local administration functions can only
be accessed when there is no call in progress.
When the terminal is being remotely managed, it is placed in an
"out-of-service" state, and the following screen is displayed:

On completion of remote management the terminal displays the
idle menu.
When the terminal is being locally administered, it is placed in an
"out-of-service" state but no special status is displayed.
