Restoring the factory settings
A full treatment of these issues is necessarily complex with user
interface component representing just a part of a wider terminal
management policy. On normal restart you will be presented with
the following display. This screen will be visible for a few seconds:

After the phone has successfully initialized, the terminal will dis-
play the Basic menu entry point and the date and time:

In order to protect against the Administrator password being
changed from the factory default and then forgotten, the following
procedure can be invoked to reset the HiNet LP5100 back to its
default factory settings:

Place the phone in one of its idle states.
G
Remove the network connection.
G
Lift the handset off.
G
Press the following keys simultaneously: 3 – 4 – #
You will see the following display:
Enter reset password
******
G
Enter the 6-digit password: 124816
If you enter the correct password and press the
minal will be reset to factory settings and restarted.
