8. 4 Montage, Prüfung und Pflege
Das gereinigte und desinfizierte Medizinprodukt
muss auf Reinheit, Vollständigkeit, Schäden und
Trockenheit visuell geprüft werden:
• Sind noch Verschmutzungen oder Rückstände
vorhanden, muss das Medizinprodukt manuell
nachgereinigt und erneut einem vollständigen
Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsprozess
unterzogen werden.
• Beschädigte oder korrodierte Medizinprodukte
müssen ausgesondert werden.
• Anschließend muss eine Funktionskontrolle
durchgeführt werden.
8. 5 Begrenzung der
Wiederaufbereitung
Die Produktlebensdauer sowie die
Funktionsfähigkeit werden maßgeblich durch
mechanische Beanspruchung und chemische
Einflüsse im Rahmen der Aufbereitung und
Anwendung bestimmt.

VORSICHT: Das Video-Verbindungskabel
und das Lichtleitkabel vor und
nach dem Desinfizieren und vor der
Wiederverwendung auf Bruchstellen
oder Risse überprüfen. Bruchstellen oder
Risse führen dazu, dass Flüssigkeit in
das Kabel eindringt und sie beschädigt.
Bei einem VITOM ® 3D mit beschädigtem
Lichtleitkabel oder beschädigtem Video-
Verbindungskabel ist das jeweilige Kabel
auszutauschen.

8. 4 Assembly, inspection and care
The cleaned and disinfected medical device
must be visually inspected for cleanliness,
completeness, damage and dryness:
• If residues or contamination are still present,
the medical device must be manually cleaned
and subjected to a full cleaning and disinfection
procedure once more.
• Damaged or corroded medical devices must be
withdrawn from use.
• Afterwards, a functional check must be carried
out.
8. 5 Reprocessing limits
The product's service life and correct functioning
are largely determined by mechanical stress
and chemical influences within the scope of
reprocessing and application.

CAUTION: Inspect the video connecting
cable and the fiberoptic light cable
for breaks or cracks before and after
disinfection, as well as prior to subsequent
use. Breaks or cracks will allow fluids
to enter the cables and cause damage.
Where a VITOM ® 3D has a damaged
fiberoptic light cable or damaged video
connecting cable, the relevant cable must
be replaced.

8. 4 Montaje, verificación y
conservación
Efectúe un control visual del producto médico
limpio y desinfectado, comprobando la limpieza,
integridad, ausencia de deterioros y secado del
mismo:
• En caso de que todavía quedaran suciedad
o residuos, someta el producto médico a una
limpieza posterior manual y vuelva a llevar
a cabo un proceso completo de limpieza y
desinfección.
• Es imprescindible retirar del servicio los
productos médicos deteriorados o corroídos.
• A continuación, efectúe un control de
funcionamiento.
8. 5 Limitación de la repreparación
La vida útil y la capacidad de funcionamiento
del producto dependen decisivamente de la
solicitación mecánica y los efectos químicos
durante la preparación y la aplicación.

ADVERTENCIA: Compruebe la existencia
de roturas o grietas antes y después de
la desinfección y antes de volver a utilizar
el cable de conexión de vídeo y el cable
de luz. Las roturas o grietas permiten la
in ltración de líquidos en el cable y su
consiguiente deterioro. Si el cable de
luz o el cable de conexión de vídeo del
VITOM ® 3D está deteriorado, es necesario
cambiarlo por uno nuevo.
