Press the top cover release button and
open the top cover.

Carefully take out the jammed original
document.

Close the operation panel.
If there is a copy jam at the paper exit, follow these steps to solve the problem.

Press the top cover release button.
Open the top cover.

Pull forth the blue paper release lever
on the left.

Carefully take out the jammed copy pa-
per.

Pull back the blue paper release lever to
its original location.

Close the top cover.
You should test the ink cartridge when the print is not clear, or dots are missing.
The problem may be caused by a clogged nozzle in the ink cartridge.
The nozzle test clears the ink cartridge nozzle then prints a test pattern so you
can see the purge results.

Press the Function key and 5,2 using
the Ten Key Pad.

Press the Yes key.

The nozzle test pattern is printed out.
