Before you transmit a fax with the PC, select the Fax mode on the
machine's operation panel.

Turn off the personal computer and this machine.

Attach the RS 232C cable to the personal computer and this machine.

Turn on this machine and then turn on your personal computer.

Start-up the fax-modem program of this machine using Function 47 in the
User Parameters. (see page 103.)
