The MD2 is located at the beginning or end of
a 2-wire or 4-wire line and is set to a trans-
mission speed of 1200 or 2400 bps.
End point as above but with transmission
speed set to 9600 or 19200 bps.
The MD2 is not located at the beginning or
end of a 2-wire line; it taps into this 2-wire line
along the way with high resistance. The
transmission speed is set to 1200 or 2400
bps.
