Description of this Upgrade

Step 1. Copy All Unique Files to an External Disk Drive

Step 1. Copy All Unique Files to an External Disk Drive
The hard disk drive (HDD/SSD) in your analyzer will be replaced as part of
this upgrade. Therefore, it is necessary that all unique and personal files
stored on the HDD/SSD be saved to an external disk drive for re-installation
later on the new SSD.
This procedure is written assuming a USB flash memory drive is used,
although any external disk drive will suffice.
You may skip this step, if you plan to retain the installed SSD for future
access. (i.e., To connect your old SSD as a secondary drive, a USB to data
or USB to SATA converter cable is required and these are available
commercially).
1. Connect the power cord to the analyzer and turn ON the power.
2. Insert a USB flash memory drive into a USB port.
3. Open Windows Explorer.
4. Copy all of your files that you want to transfer to the USB drive:
5. Remove the USB drive from the USB port.
6. Exit Windows Explorer.
