c. Connect the disk drive signal cables to the (FC EC3S) PCIe Gen3 SAS/SATA RAID adapter before
installing the adapter. See Figure 28.

d. Connect the cable that is attached to the supercapacitor module card.
e. Insert the (FC EC3S) PCIe Gen3 SAS/SATA RAID adapter (A) into the system backplane PCIe
adapter slot, aligning it properly and inserting it fully into the slot.
f. Insert the retaining screw (B) and tighten it to secure the PCIe adapter in the system, as shown in
Figure 29 on page 30.
