9. Remove the stopper from the filler opening and attach the air bleed cap.
10. Replace the protective cover on the hydraulic power unit.
11. Check for oil leaks.

Linking the column lifts

The column lifts are set up in a completely closed circuit of at least 2 and at most 28
column lifts. There should be at least 1 (one) column lift in a column circuit. It is not
important where the lift column has been set up in the circuit but by preference it
should be positioned close to the mains supply.
If there is one main column in a column circuit the circuit is referred to as one set. A
set may consist of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 column (2, 3, or 4 with a single phase).
The lifting capacity for the ST 1082 model is 18,000 lbs per column; a set of 4 can
therefore lift 72,000 lbs (max.). The lifting capacity for the ST 1100 model is 22,000
lbs per column; a set of 4 can therefore lift 88,000 lbs (max.).
For higher lifting capacities, sets must be combined in a column ring according to the
next mentioned tables.

If you want to lift the maximum weight with a set of 6, two main columns with two
power supplies must be used because otherwise the current will be too high.
Main columns are positioned in a circuit in such a way that the load to be lifted of the
set (main column followed by auxiliary columns up to the following main column) will
not be more than 72,000 lbs (ST 1082) or 88,000 lbs (ST 1100).
