11) Choose the connecting straps and attach them to the snap fasteners on the shoulder cuff (see
fig. 1 item: 3 and item: 5).
12) Attach the strap guide loops to the snap fasteners on the forearm cuff.
13) Guide the connecting straps through the strap guide loop and adjust the length with the hook-
and-loop closure (see fig. 10). The strain on the shoulder joint should be relieved and the
shoulder should be rotated slightly outwards.
14) Adjust the length of the support straps with the hook-and-loop closure. In doing so, make sure
that the humeral head is raised.
15) Optional: Attach the muscle stimulation pad in the desired position with hook-and-loop (see
fig. 11).
16) Check the fit of the orthosis. Adjust the length of the connecting and supporting straps as
needed.
5.3 Cleaning
1) Close all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Hand wash the orthosis in warm water at 40°C with mild laundry detergent.
3) Rinse well.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
