Seats, restraints
Removing
To release belt, press red button on
belt buckle.
Safety belts on the rear seats
The safety belt for the rear center seat
can only be withdrawn from the re‐
tractor if the backrest is in the upright
position.
Make sure that the backrests are
locked 3 85.
9 Warning
Make sure that the belt does not
become trapped when the back‐
rest is folded down or raised
3 85.
If cargo has to be placed on a seat,
it must be properly secured with
the safety belt. This reduces the
risk of the cargo being thrown
about during hard braking or a col‐
lision, which could cause personal
injury.
Check that the belt is not twisted
or lying against sharp edges.
Make sure you use the correct belt
buckle. The buckles for the center
and left-hand rear seats are close
together.
Safety belt use during
pregnancy
Pregnant women must always wear
a safety belt to protect both them‐
selves and the unborn child.
9 Warning
The lap belt must be positioned
low, across the hips and over the
upper thighs, so that pressure is
not put on the abdomen.
