Status after system is armed:
LED flashes
= system is
slowly
armed.

= system is dis‐
quickly 3 times
armed.

Seek the assistance of a workshop in
the event of faults.
Deactivation
Unlocking the vehicle by pressing
button c on the remote control or, in
case of passive entry system, by pull‐
ing the front door exterior handle, de‐
activates anti-theft alarm system.

Alarm
When triggered, the alarm sounds
and the hazard warning lights flash
simultaneously. The number and du‐
ration of alarm signals are stipulated
by legislation.
The alarm can be silenced by press‐
ing any button of the remote control or
by turning on the ignition.
The anti-theft alarm system can be
deactivated only by pressing button
c or by turning on the ignition.
Immobilizer
The system is part of the engine elec‐
tronics and checks if the vehicle is al‐
lowed to be started with the remote
control being on the driver's person or
in the passenger compartment.
The electronic immobilizer is going to
be activated automatically after the
ignition has been turned off.
If the control indicator d flashes when
the ignition is on, there is a fault in the
system; the engine cannot be started.
Turn off the ignition and then repeat
the start attempt.
If the control indicator continues
flashing, attempt to start the engine
using the other remote control and
seek the assistance of a workshop.
Keys, doors and windows
Notice
The immobiliser does not lock the
doors. You should always lock the
vehicle after leaving it and switch on
the anti-theft alarm system 3 22,
3 27.
Do not leave the remote control unit
in the vehicle.
