 A manufacturer that does not communicate the information provided for by article 13,
paragraph 8 to the national register of the subjects obliged to dispose of WEEE within the
terms set out by article 13, paragraphs 4 3 5 can incur penalties.
 With the exceptions set out by article 5 paragraph 2, anyone who, after July 1, 2006,
launches on the market WEE containing substances listed in article 5, paragraph 1 or
further substances identified pursuant to article 18, paragraph 1, will incur a monetary
sanction of Euro 50 to Euro 500 for each device that enters the market or of Euro 30,000 to
Euro 100,000.
