14.1.3 Define Event Outputs

All output devices can have two system events directly assigned to them.
A relay style device will turn on if either of the assigned events occurs.
A sounder style device will turn on if the primary event occurs, (Shown as 'Event-A'), or will pulse if
only the secondary event occurs ('Shown as Event-B').
The 'Define outputs' display option allows the events assignments to be inspected and changed if
required.
It strongly recommended that a PC be normally used to define events.
Press the 'No' key to terminate this display option.

15 Normal Operation

The panel is placed in its normal operating state by selecting 'NORMAL OPERATION' from page 1 of
the Commissioning menu. Press '3' to select the function.
Once this is done the panel will perform a reset and then become fully active. The alphanumeric
display may prompt for entry of the time and date – enter the correct time and date as appropriate.
Refer to the User Manual for further information on the operation and functions available at User
Levels 1 and 2.
Remember to lock the memory.
If the memory lock switch is left in the open position for an extended period of time the panel will report a
'CONFIG MEMORY' fault. Refer to Section 8 for further information.
