Fan module replacement

The following shows the procedure for replacing a fan module.
For the life of the fan module, refer to the following page.
Page 89 Fan Module Life
1.
Check that the fan module has stopped operation.
After turning OFF the power supply, the fan in the fan module continues to rotate, so wait approximately 10 seconds until the
fan stops.
2.
Use your fingers to grasp the fan module fixing hook (1) and the bottom of the fan module (2), and then pull out the fan
module slowly.
Immediately after turning OFF the power supply of the product, the heat sink exposed after removing the fan
is very hot. When removing the fan module, be careful not to touch the heat sink. Additionally, touching the
heat sink may deform it and decrease cooling efficiency.
3.
Align the case grooves of the main module and fan module, and then push the fan module until it clicks.
4.
Power ON the product.
5.
Check that the fan module is running.
6.
Execute an Alert reset, and the make sure that the FAN LED is off. ( Page 140 Menu Operation Switch)
Precautions
• In order to prevent poor contact, wipe off any dust on connectors.
• Do not subject the fan module to shocks from drops or falls. These may lead to failure or reduced performance.
