DisplayPort

This section shows the wiring for DisplayPort.
Wiring equipment
The following shows the equipment for wiring.
■DisplayPort cable
Use cables that meet both of the following conditions.
• With shielding.
• Meet DisplayPort 1.2a standards.
Additionally, use locking connectors that prevent the cable from being disconnected.
Wiring procedure
The following shows the procedure for wiring the DisplayPort.
■Connection of DisplayPort cables
While paying attention to the connector orientation, and insert the DisplayPort cable into the DisplayPort until a click is heard.
After connecting the cable, take measures to prevent its removal. ( Page 167 Prevention of cable
removal)
■Removal of DisplayPort cables
Release the connector lock, and pull out the DisplayPort cable.
Precautions
• When not connecting a DisplayPort cable, use the attached cover to prevent ingress of dust and dirt.
• Check that the DisplayPort cables do not have any breakages or shorts, and that there are no problems with the connector.
