Troubleshooting

1) Connection failure
If the program is unable to connect, proceed as follows:
Make sure that no other active programs on your PC are already using the serial ports (e.g.: Hyper-
terminal). If this is the case, close these applications and try again.
Make sure that the instrument battery is charged.
Make sure that the cables are properly connected to the connectors.
2) Print Problems
If there are any problems during the print procedure, try to upgrade the printer driver by downloading it
from the manufacturer's Web site.
Modify the dimensions of printed image selecting File >> Print Graph Setting.
Use the Copy to clipboard function to copy the active window and paste it in another application: for ex-
ample, to print a graph, copy and paste it in Windows Paint and try to print it from there.
3) Battery replacement
After the replacement of the battery, the keyboard of the instrument is unable to be used in order to avoid
that the starting of a new storage can cancel any data already stored.
Follow these instructions:
Connect the instrument to the PC, start the connection and, if necessary, download the data stored by
the minidatalogger.
Press the Setup key and then select the slide Options.
Select the function Unlock as per the following picture.
Set date and hour in the Date-Time slide and then confirm the setup by means of the Apply All key
