To be archived, a group of measurements has to form a complete block: if, for instance, data are
sorted by day (By Day), the "Split & Archive data" function will be enabled only if data cover a
whole day, at least. Furthermore, only completed intervals will be filed: in case of one day and a half
of measurements, only the complete day will be filed. Remaining data will continue appearing in the
Report List until the next storage or until the final storage that occurs using the Instrument Manager
command "Close DRF & Archive".
Sort by download date is complete by itself, thus it will always be entirely filed.
After two complete downloads of the minidatalogger memory, you will be asked to archive data be-
fore making a new download to prevent working with too big files. The same thing happens when
some changes have been made to the instrument settings between a download and the next one: be-
ing the two groups of data not compatible with each other, it is necessary to file the old ones before
dumping the new ones.
