The following equipment is useful for troubleshooting the 11A52 Two Channel Amplifier.
1. Test Oscilloscope
Description: Frequency response, de to 200 megahertz minimum, deflection factor, 5 m V to 5 VI div. A lOX,
10 Mn voltage probe should be used to reduce circuit loading for voltage measurements.
Purpose: Check operating waveforms.
Recommended type: TEK1RONIX 7904A Oscilloscope with 7A26 Dual-Trace Amplifier, 7S14 Dual Trace
Delayed Sweep Sampler, and 7B10 and 7B15 Time Bases, or equivalent.
2. Calibration Fixtures
(A) Flexible Extender Set (plug-in)
Purpose: Troubleshooting with 11A52 extended
Recommended type: Tektronix part 067-1261-00 Flexible Extender.
(B) Signal Pickoff
Purpose: Troubleshooting the circuit boards.
Recommended type: Tektronix part 067-1262-00 Signal Pickoff Connector.
(C) Signal Standardizer
Purpose: Troubleshooting the circuit boards.
Recommended type: Tektronix part 067-0587-02 Signal Standardizer.
(D) Normalizer
Purpose: Troubleshooting the circuit boards.
Recommended type: Tektronix part 067-0537-00 15 pF Normalizer
(E) Dual-BNC Connector
Purpose: Connect dual signals to amplifier.
Recomme~ded type: Tektronix part 067-5252-02 Dual BNC.Connector.
3. Digital Multimeter
Description: 10 megohm input impedance and 0 to 1 kilovolt range, ac and de; ohmmeter, accuracy, within
0.1
%.
Test probes must be insulated to prevent accidental shorting.
Purpose: Check voltages and resistances.
