Troubleshooting by Symptom

This section describes troubleshooting when a data link cannot be performed with the target station regardless of no error
occurring in the Motion module.
If an error has occurred in the Motion module, identify the error cause using the engineering tool. ( Page 54 Checking the
Network Status)
When cyclic transmission cannot be performed
The following lists the actions to be taken if cyclic transmission cannot be performed.
Check item
Is the D LINK LED of the Motion module turned on?
Does the slave station support the link devices set in "Network Configuration
Settings" under "Basic Settings" of the master station?
Do the station types set in "Network Configuration Settings" under "Basic Settings"
of the master station match those set for the connected slave stations?
If "Connection Device Information" of "Basic Settings" sets as "Authentication Class
B Only", is a CC-Link IE TSN-compatible switching hub certified by the CC-Link
Partner Association being used?
When using an authentication class B/A device with a communication speed of
100Mbps in the basic cycle, is "System Reservation Time" in "Communication
Period Setting" under "Basic Settings" of the master station set to 20s?
Is "  " displayed on the dot matrix LED of the Motion module?
When "Connected Device
Information" under "Basic
Settings" of the master station is
set to "Authentication Class B
Only"

Action
Perform troubleshooting for when the D LINK LED turns off or is flashing.
( Page 49 When the D LINK LED turns off or is flashing)
Correct the link devices to be assigned to the slave station.
Check 'Station type match status of each station' (SB00E8) and 'Station
type match status' (SW00E8 to SW00EF) to correct the station type of
stations in which the station type does not match.
• Correct the used hub and the hub settings. For the setting method,
refer to the manual for the hub used.
• When using a CC-Link IE TSN-compatible switching hub certified by
the CC-Link Partner Association, check the precautions and
restrictions for system configuration on the CC-Link IE TSN-
compatible switching hub list at the CC-Link Partner Association
website (www.cc-link.org).
• Correct the switching hub delay time according to the hub used. For
the switching hub delay time, refer to the manual for the hub used.
Set "System Reservation Time" to 200s.
Set the module parameters.
Disconnect the authentication class A devices.
Disconnect the general-purpose hub or replace it with a TSN hub.
