19.3 I/O report

Changing the Assembly plan for ET 200M
The Assembly plan is used to represent the setup of the components with additional information
like Power loss or the devices on rack/profile rail.
Note
Only the Rails 483mm/530mm/620mm are supported.
The following configurations can be shown on the Assembly plan based on the new HW
structure:
● Single and redundant PS
● Single and redundant IM for Profibus
● Single IM for Profinet
Procedure
1. Open the "HW configuration tool"
2. Select the "I/O - ET 200M" tab and add any valid configuration including Rack: Profile rail,
483mm.
3. Click "Create" and "OK" to close the "Hardware configuration tool".
4. Open the "Assembly plan", observe & close it.
5. Click "Apply" or "OK".
6. Open "Assembly plan" & observe.
Result
Assembly plan is updated according to the changed device (e.g. Profile rail, 483mm to Profile
rail, 530mm).

I/O report
Requirement
● The "Locations" tab is selected in the Navigator.
● A cabinet has been created.
Benefits
You create the I/O report below the cabinet. The report provides an overview of the utilized and
free channels per cabinet.
