Glossary
Block
A block is used to create multiple elements collectively. A base object with the "Block" creation
option cannot be created as an engineering object itself. It only represents the individual
elements.
Block Flow Diagram
Synonym for Process Flow Block Diagram (PFB).
Report type in the FEED solution for process engineering in a two-dimensional space. Contains
a process unit and boundary stream as its main components. Due to its maximum degree of
abstraction, the PFB is normally situated at the beginning of process engineering.
Block Variables
Block variables are the attributes that assign additional properties to blocks.
