DECOMMISSIONING AND CLEANING

The device should be cleaned for maintenance purposes. Ensure that no remaining
product dries on and sticks to the device.
1. Carry out work interruption
2. Carry out basic fl ushing
3. Empty the pump in a controlled manner
4. Maintain the gun according to the operating manual.
5. Clean and check the suction system and the suction fi lter.
6. When using a material fi lter, check fi lter insert and fi lter housing and clean or replace
them. Chapter 8.2.8.
7. Clean the outside of the system.
Brittle fi lter pressure regulator!
The tank on the fi lter pressure regulator becomes brittle through
contact with solvents and can burst.
Flying parts can cause injury.
8. Fully assemble the system.
9. Check fi ll level of the separating agent
10. Fill the system with fl ushing agent in accordance with Chapter 8.2.7.
Gas mixtures can explode if there is an incompletely filled
pump!
Danger to life from fl ying parts.
Ignition of potentially explosive surrounding atmosphere.

LONG-TERM STORAGE

When storing the device for longer periods of time, it is necessary to thoroughly clean it
and protect it from corrosion. Replace the water or solvent in the product pump with a
suitable preservative, fi ll separating agent cup with separating agent.
Procedure:
1. Carry out points 1 to 9 of Chapter 8.1.3 "Decommission and clean".
2. Fill the system with preservative in accordance with Chapter 8.2.7.
3. Empty the pump in a controlled manner in accordance with Chapter 8.2.6 and seal the
openings.

WARNING
Do not clean the tank on the fi lter pressure regulator with
solvents.
