8.5.5. Cleaning the injector

Remove the softener and valve covers, see 8.5.2. Covers removal (softener and valve),

Using a Torx key, unscrew and remove the injector cap (1).
CAUTION
Take care not to damage the injector (2).

Using pliers, gently extract the injector (2) from valve body.
D
Clean the injector (2) using compressed air, a soft brush or possibly a pin.
E
Rinse thoroughly any cleaning agent you may have used.
F
Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
