9.2.6. Cleaning the injector

A Remove the screws (4).
B Remove the cap injector (3).
C Remove the seal (4) taking note of its position.
Caution
Depending of configuration, the position of the seal can be different as shown. The mid part
of the seal should be aligned with the position of the injector.
D Using the pusher (2), remove the injector (1).
Caution
To avoid any damage on the injector, use only the pusher to remove it.
E Remove the screen (6).
F Remove the injector plug (5).
Note
The plug has 2 slots in at the top. The plug can be removed by hooking something into one
of these slots from the center of the plug.
G Clean or change the injector (1), the screen (6), the injector plug (5) and the seal (4).
H Lubricate all seals with approved lubricant only.
I Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
