Creating categories
1.
Create a new category in one of the alternative ways.
•
On the menu bar, point to Graphical Display Editor, point to Symbol
Editor and select Create Category.
•
Right-click the symbol library and click Create Category.

On the toolbar, click

In the Create Category dialog, specify a name and click Create.
Creating states
The symbol can have different states that represent the graphics for the symbol. The
symbol graphics are different for each state. The state is selected when creating a new
symbol.

Create a new state in one of the alternative ways.
•
On the menu bar, point to Graphical Display Editor, point to Symbol
Editor and select Create State.

On the toolbar, click

In the Create State dialog, select Create new state.
3.
Specify a name and numeric value and click Create.
