(1) - Pedal
To lift the sewing foot:
1. Press the pedal (1) halfway back.
 The sewing foot is lifted during a machine standstill.
OR
1. Press the pedal (1) fully back.
 The thread cutter is activated, and the sewing foot is lifted.
