Network Update Procedure
This procedure applies to an mA-301X that is installed in a CMP AXIe Chassis,
How to Update Firmware via Network Connection

Verify the Chassis is connected to a LAN and configured for network access.

Open the mA-3011 Web Browser UI.

Navigate to the Slot Management Page.

Select the Host Module to be updated and click the i.
5
Press Check for Update Button.

Wait while Chassis Shelf Manager queries the software location.

If a more current version of software is identified, the Update Button is enabled.
Press the Update Button.

Wait while the Chassis Shelf Manager performs the update. Do not interrupt this
process.
Removing the module
Refer to the section titled
instructions.
CAUTION
Modules are ESD sensitive and should only be installed, removed and/or serviced by
Qualified Service Personnel.

How to Remove Module

Power down the Chassis.

Fully loosen the captive screws on each side of the module.
3
Grasp the module Securing Latches and pull the Latches outwards and away from
the module to disconnect the module from the Backplane Connectors. Pull until the
Securing Latches are at a 90° angle with the front of the module.
4
Grasp the module and pull to remove the module from the Chassis.
