Ensure that you complete
the following step. An
electrical outlet that is not
correctly wired could
place hazardous voltage
on the metal parts of the
system or the products
that attach to the system.

Set the ac power switch on the
rear of the tape unit to the 0 (off)
position.
Disconnect the signal cable and
the power cable from the rear of
the tape unit.
