No Response Service Check
Use this procedure when one or
more of the following occur:
The tape unit does not respond
to system commands
The tape unit does not respond
to control panel commands
The display lights are not on
and the cooling fan is not
working
Is the Power switch on the control
panel set to the On position?
Yes
No

Set the Power switch to
the On position.
Insert the CE test tape and
run sequence test 2; see
"Running Diagnostic
Tests" on page A-5.
This ends the procedure.
