Disabling 802.1x Authentication on the Port
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to disable 802.1x authentication on the port. This
procedure is optional.

1. configure terminal
2. interface interface-id
3. switchport mode access
4. no dot1x pae authenticator

Configuring IEEE 802.1x Port-Based Authentication
Purpose
Enters the global configuration mode.
Specifies the port to be configured, and enter interface
configuration mode.
(Optional) Sets the port to access mode only if you
configured the RADIUS server.
Disables 802.1x authentication on the port.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
