SDI-12

The sonde can be connected to an SDI-12 bus using a Signal Output Adapter (SOA). The SOA provides the
necessary SDI-12 electrical interface and communicates to the sonde via the topside RS-485 interface. The
SOA will automatically recognize when a sonde is connected and retrieve the SDI-12 address and ID from
the sonde. The SDI-12 data parameter list is set by the user in the Deploy menu.
