volume manager, be sure to designate that disk as the primary mirror. See your
volume manager documentation for information on determining which physical
slice is used when booting.
9. Prepare the CD-ROM (if necessary).
a. Log in to the SSP as superuser.
b. Re-insert the Sun Computer Systems Supplement CD into the CD-ROM drive
of the SSP machine.
Wait for the volume manager to mount the CD.
c. Share the CD-ROM so that it can be accessed over the network.
ssp# share -o ro,anon=0 -F nfs /cdrom/cdrom0
10. Upgrade to AP 2.2 on the domain.
a. Log in to the domain as superuser.
b. If necessary, create and mount the /cdrom directory.
# mkdir /cdrom
# mount ssp_hostname:/cdrom/cdrom0 /cdrom
c. Install the required AP 2.2 packages.
# cd /cdrom/Product
# pkgadd -d . SUNWapdv SUNWapr SUNWapu SUNWapdoc
d. Run the following script to restore the original AP configuration.
Caution – Be sure to read "Upgrading AP and Solaris Software Simultaneously" on
page 148 before performing the following command.
# /cdrom/Tools/ap_upgrade_finish
...
ap_upgrade_finish has completed
