To Install a Fresh Copy of AP 2.2
1. If you plan to install AP on top of a fresh copy of the Solaris 7 11/99 operating
environment, install the operating environment (if necessary) and then return to
this procedure.
See "Performing a Fresh Install" in the chapter "Solaris 7 11/99 on the Sun
Enterprise 10000 Server" in the Solaris 7 11/99 Sun Hardware Platform Guide.
2. Mount the CD-ROM.
a. Log in to the SSP as superuser.
b. Insert the Sun Computer Systems Supplement CD into the CD-ROM drive.
The CD-ROM drive is attached to the SSP. Wait for the volume manager to mount
the CD-ROM.
c. Execute the following share(1M) command on the SSP to make the CD-ROM
usable across the net.
ssp# share -o ro,anon=0 -F nfs /cdrom/cdrom0
3. Install the AP packages on the SSP (and spare SSP, if applicable)
