7. Click the Write radio settings button.
After you write the radio settings for each device, their names appear in the Radio Modules
area. The Port indicates that the LOCAL_DEVICE is in API mode.
8. Disconnect REMOTE_DEVICE from the computer, remove it from XCTU, and connect it to a
power supply, laptop, or portable battery.
9. Leave LOCAL_DEVICE connected to the computer.

Perform a range test

1. Go to the XCTU display for radio 1.
2. Click
to discover remote devices within the same network. The Discover remote devices
dialog appears.
3. Click Add selected devices.
