The accuracy specifications assume the instrument is being used according to the instructions provided by
Verathon while scanning a tissue‑equivalent phantom.
®
In order to maintain accuracy within the sensitivity threshold, the instrument displays a 0 mL measurement
when the detected volume is less than 30 mL in male or female scanning modes or below 15 mL in small
child mode.
While the upper threshold of the accuracy range is 999 mL, the system is capable of detecting and
displaying bladder volumes above 999 mL. Verathon cannot guarantee the accuracy of measurements
outside of the stated specifications.
